Thai Yoga & Integrative Bodywork Session

Movement First. Precision Second. Lasting Change.

This session begins on the mat with Thai yoga–inspired assisted movement, then transitions to targeted integrative bodywork on the table.

Why?
Because how your body moves tells us everything about how it needs to be worked on.

This is not a spa service.
It’s an intelligent, functional approach to pain relief, mobility, and long-term body resilience.

Why We Start With Thai Yoga

Before working deeply into the tissues, we want to understand:

  • How your joints move

  • Where your body compensates

  • What feels restricted, guarded, or unstable

  • How your nervous system responds to movement

Thai yoga allows us to assess and address movement patterns first, gently opening joints, mobilizing fascia, and restoring range of motion without force.

This prepares your body to receive bodywork in a way that’s:

  • More effective

  • More specific

  • Longer lasting

Think of it as creating space before doing the fine work.

Part One: Thai Yoga–Inspired Assisted Movement (Mat)

You’ll begin fully clothed on the mat, guided through supported, rhythmic movements using:

  • Gentle traction

  • Assisted stretching

  • Joint mobilization

  • Breath-guided expansion

This portion of the session helps:

  • Improve flexibility without strain

  • Restore natural joint mechanics

  • Calm the nervous system

  • Reveal patterns that contribute to pain or stiffness

No flexibility or yoga experience is required.
You are guided, supported, and never pushed.

Part Two: Integrative Bodywork (Table)

After movement has opened the body, we transition to the table for focused, therapeutic bodywork.

Now that we’ve seen how your body moves, the work becomes highly intentional—addressing:

  • Chronic tension and holding patterns

  • Fascial restriction

  • Overworked or inhibited muscles

  • Areas contributing to pain or dysfunction

Because the tissues are already warm and receptive, this work tends to:

  • Go deeper with less force

  • Create longer-lasting relief

  • Integrate more fully into your daily movement

Why This Combination Works

Starting with movement changes everything.

Instead of guessing where to work, we:

  • Let your body show us

  • Address root patterns, not just sore spots

  • Combine mobility and manual therapy into one cohesive system

This approach supports not just how you feel today—but how you move years from now.

Who This Session Is For

This session is ideal if you:

  • Feel stiff, tight, or restricted despite stretching or workouts

  • Experience chronic pain or recurring tension

  • Want to stay active and functional as you age

  • Sit, stand, or move repetitively for work

  • Prefer a holistic, intelligent alternative to pills and procedures

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to “do yoga.”
You just need a body that deserves better care. The Transcend Approach

At Transcend, we don’t isolate problems—we look at systems.

This session may be part of a broader care plan that includes:

  • Mobility therapy

  • Inversion-based work

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Nutrition, inflammation, and gut health support

Because lasting change happens when the whole body is addressed.
