Our Approach to Yoga

Yoga is approached in a unique way at Elemental Therapeutics. In order to benefit from the myriad of gifts that yoga has to offer, your practice should be a lifestyle. I will design a practice plan according to your individualized needs, fitness and skill level. I won’t simply show up, guide you through a class and carry on with my day. I will educate you about every nuance of the art of yoga so you feel a deep connection to your practice that will grow and change over time, as you transform. The benefits of a committed, daily practice are life-changing.

ASANA

Asana is the physical practice of Yoga. I will design a Yoga practice that is appropriate to your fitness, experience and comfort level. Together we will discover the magic mix of postures and flow that address your needs and imbalances. From restorative to sweaty Vinyasa, to Yoga HIIT and anywhere in between, we will find and refine your sweet spot.

MINDFULNESS, MEDITATION AND BREATH WORK

Stillness, equanimity, clarity, self awareness, self regulation, stress management and reduction of stress hormones are only a few of the transformative benefits of regular meditation, mindfulness and breath work practice. I will incorporate these modalities in your Asana practice or as a stand alone modality.

GONG BATH THERAPY

Lay back, close your eyes and let the healing sound of the meditation gong transport you to other worlds. The deep vibrations induce deep meditative states and physical and mental relaxation which restores balance and mind-body-spirit harmony. The result of regular treatment is reduced stress, improved sleep quality and overall wellbeing.

How do I get started?

Book a discovery call. On that call, we will discuss your individual needs, make sure we are a good match, go over packages and pricing, design your wellness program and set up your schedule.

What supplies will I need?

You will need your own yoga mat. I will provide all other necessary props or equipment.

I’m new to Yoga, Is that alright?

Absolutely! I love working with beginners. This is the beauty of private Yoga… I can Taylor it to exactly your needs and ability.

What are your rates?

Because of the time and energy involved in designing a program that is specifically for you, and because you will need multiple sessions to become acclimated and gain appreciation and understanding of the practice, sessions are bundled in a monthly plan. The smallest plan is 4 sessions per month. The more sessions you commit to, the lower the cost of each session. There is also a reduction in the price of sessions when incorporated in a customized Elemental Wellness Package. We will discuss pricing during your discovery call

I have an injury/ illness/ disability. Can you work with me?

Yes! In addition to being a 500hour Registered Yoga Teacher for 22 years, I have been a critical care RN for almost 20 years and I am certified in Functional Medicine.I have experience working with clients with a wide range of health conditions. I invite you to explore our Functional wellness plans. This path can be life altering as we get to the root cause of your challenges and develop interventions and plans to optimize your health and vitality. Yoga can be modified for all conditions and challenges.
